These days, it seems like everyone is talking about Response to Intervention (RTI), an intervention screening and instructional method intended to provide intervention for students needing additional assistance in identified areas of the curriculum. While many structures exist for RTI, a common and effective structure recommends that schools offer intervention instruction using a three-tier system.
